La montagne est un lieu de vacances magnifique. On y pense l’hiver mais trop peu l’été. Nature, déconnexion et loisir. Pour moi, c’est devenu un incontournable mes étés synonyme de randonnée, peu de monde, air pur et souvent découvertes sportives. Après vous avoir emmené deux fois dans les Pyrénées (Vallée d’Aspe et Cauterets), cette année, direction les Alpes et la station Avoriaz.
Comment y aller ?
En train :
A proximité d’Avoriaz vous avez les gares de Thonon les bains, Cluses et Genève.
En avion :
A proximité d’Avoriaz vous avez l’aéroport international de Genève.
Il y a un vol Easy Jet depuis Bordeaux, ce qui permet de gagner du temps et de payer moins cher que le train.
Transfert depuis l’aéroport ou les gares :
Une compagnie de bus assure le transfert entre les gares et l’aéroport et la station. Comptez environ 60€ A/R par personne. N’hésitez pas à comparer avec un taxi (surtout si vous êtes nombreux).
Et sinon tu peux bien sûr venir en voiture.
Logement :
Résidence Pierre et Vacances :
Pierre et vacances propose des appartements tout équipé au coeur de la station. Cuisine, deux chambres, deux salles de bain, une cuisine. C’est l’astuce parfaite pour être autonome. En plein été comptez environ 270€ pour un appartement pour 6 à 7 personnes pour 2 nuits. Mais je vous recommande de rester un peu plus.
Les activités :
L’été, la montagne se transforme et les stations accueille de nouveaux sports.
La randonnée :
C’est l’incontournable. N’hésitez pas à vous rendre à l’office du tourisme dès votre arrivée pour découvrir les sentiers à parcourir. Un tour au Carrefour Montagne pour vous préparer un pique-nique et c’est parti. S’il fait beau trouvez vous un spot pour voir le coucher de soleil.
Le vélo :
Testé et approuvé ! Nous avons essayé les Fat Bikes électriques Matra. De la folie ! Il faut savoir que de nombreux parcours VTT ont été crées sur la station. Sensation forte et paysage magnifique à la clé.
Avec des vélos à assistance électrique tout devient plus simple et vraiment accessible à tous. A tester.
Faites un stop à Lil’stash. Ces cabanes suspendues avec option barbecue mis à la disposition de tous.
Aquariaz :
Envie de détente et fun. Profiter d’Aquariaz : jacuzzi en extérieur, torrent artificiel, bouée… Profitez de quelques heures de fun.
Lindarets, village des chèvres :
Elles sont vraiment partout dans le village. Après votre marche, profitez en pour y passer et manger au restaurant Le Chaudron. On y a passé un très bon moment et très bien mangé. Super service et ambiance.
La montagne l’été c’est l’occasion parfaite pour prendre de vraies vacances. Elle vous réserve encore plus de surprises à des prix très avantageux car on est hors-saison.N’hésitez pas à vous à passer dans les office du tourisme dès votre arrivée pour faire un programme sur mesure et tester des activités auxquelles vous n’auriez surement jamais pensé.
